SUBA Short for YOSI Or SIGARILYO

"SUBA" Ito naman ang bagong tawag sa sigarilyo ng mga smoker. Tulad din "nomo" inembento ito ng mga beki o yung mga taong nasa ikatlong lahi ika nga. Madalas na rin itong naririnig sa lipunan or community. Pero di tulad ng ibang imbentong salita, ang suba ay karaniwang maririnig sa mga sosyalerang tao partikular na ang ang mga party goers. Mapa babae or lalake ay ginagamit ang salitang ito kapalit ng tunay na tawag sa sigarilyo. Kalimitan, ang salitang suba ay mas maraming naibibigay na kahulugan ng mga taong hindi sanay sa tawag na ito. Gaya ng mga magulang na walang ginawa kundi ang alagaan ang kanilang mga anak at kung maaari ay mapaiwas sa mga bisyo tulad ng paninigarilyo. Pero dahil sa salitang ito, nakakalusot parin ang mga kabataang gustong subukan o pasukin ang bisyo ng paninigarilyo. Halimbawa ng ganitong eksena :

Magkaibigan galing sa school umuwi sa bahay, magkapit bahay lang.


Student        : Ay tol, yung suba ko pala naiwan ko sa bag mo.
Anak            : Ha? wala saken, hindi ba kinuha mo na kanina sa school?
Magulang     : Anak? ano bang yang suba na naiwan ng kaibigan mo sa bag mo? 
Anak            : Ah wala po nay, yung notebook nya nakilagay kasi sya kanina sken e.
Student         : Opo tita, naiwan ko po kanina sa kanya.
Magulang      : Ah, kala ko kung anong suba ang sinasabe nyo, san nyo ba napulot yang salitang yan?
Anak             : Naku nay, wala po yun wag nyo nalang pansinin.

Ayun, sa muling pagkakataon, naisahan nanaman ang kawawang magulang. Pasok nanaman sa ister ng mga mapusok na anak. Pero ngayon, sa pagkakataong ito, wala na silang maitatagong bagong salita sa magulang. Dahilan narin yan ng madalas na paggamit ng mga beki ng salitang imbento nila.


So, yan ha alam nyo na ang ibig sabihin ng salitang suba, kaya kapag narinig nyo ito sa iba, wag na kayo magtaka o magtanong kung ano ba ang kahulugan ng salitang suba.

"NOMO"  Yan ang bagong tawag sa inuman. Mapa teenagers or workaholic, studyante or mga tambay.
Ito ngayon ang madalas na tawag ng mga taong mag iinum or mag cecelebrate. Noong una, mga beki lang gumagamit nito, pero di nagtagal halos lahat ay nakakaalam na nito. Yan tuloy, nabuko na ang mga patagong nag iinum sa kanilang mga magulang. Dati kasi hindi alam ng mga magulang kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng salitang nomo.  Inembento ito ng mga beki o yung taong nasa ikatlong lahi ika nga. Dati  madalas ang senaryo ay ganito

Magulang : Anak, san ka pupunta?
Anak :       dyan lang po nay, magnonomo kami ng mga classmate ko.
Magulang :  anong nomo anak?
Anak :        nay, ibig sabihin po nun gagawa kami ng project.
Magulang : Ah, kala ko kasi kung ano eh, sige anak basta mag iingat ka at umuwi ka nang maaga ha, wag papagabi.
Anak :       sige po nay, sabay hingi ng pera para sa kunwaring  gagawing project.

Yan, ganyan noon ang madalas na eksena ng mga kabataang palihim na nag iinum. kaya ayun, kawawang magulang naisahan nanaman ng anak. Pero dahil nga sa madalas itong ginagamit, lalo na ng mga beki, ayun, nabuking at nalaman ang tunay na kahulugan ng salitang Nomo.


Kaya ngayon, para sa mga di pa nakakaalam ng salitang nomo, pwest ito na ang chance nyo para malaman.

 Lahat tayo ay nakakaranas ng kabiguan sa buhay, bahagi na ito ng ating buhay. Halos araw- araw meron tayong hinaharap na pagsubok na kung minsan ay ginagawa lang nating sisiw at agad nalalagpasan natin. Pero kung minsan din naman, sadyang hindi natin makita o mahanapan ng solusyon. Kaya't dahilan nang minsan din nating pagtakas o pagtalikod sa pagsubok na ating kinakaharap. Marami sa atin ang madalas ay hindi lumalaban sa hamon ng buhay. Mabilis na sumusuko at tinatanggap nalang kung ano ang nasa ating harapan. MISSING MY PATH TO HIM

Today afternoon were sat at the bench at the house of my friend when our Pastor motivator came and talk to us. I was awaken by her advising again in what happened and happenings in our life. I missed so much this kind of talk we used before. Actually just today again I heard the words that she told us every time we met and talk this way. It just like the first time, I felt comfort and blessed. As our GOD is with us along our way. I feel sorry for myself for not continuing Praising HIM despite of every things HE gave and done to my life. I wanna ask forgiveness today for all the wrong things I've done. Asking forgiveness to at least reborn again. Back to the old things I'm doing ; Praying / Attending Church every Sunday and doing home church to have bible study once in a week. This old things made me stay and alive, giving me strength to face the challenges in life. This was my sword before when I was nothing but FAITH. I feel coming back to all this old things making me where I am now. If I giving a chance again, I would rather choose to stay in this than any where else. HOPE is now what I see. And I'm looking forward to see myself in this room again. I wish I can find courage again to close this deal with HIM.

WHEN MY WORLD'S GOING DOWN

I was sitting down my window now and looking to the people outside trying to get answer to all my questions. I actually in the point of questioning my life "how this all things happened to me". Who am I going to blame for all of this?
